QUID — trading as "Squid" on Base, 0x1a44233fae8d50f1aeb3a5d58dd426ff4814cb53 — carries the single most infamous name in token history. The original SQUID, launched around the Squid Game series in late 2021, became the canonical honeypot: it rocketed thousands of percent while its contract quietly blocked every sell, then collapsed to zero in minutes when the deployer exited.
This contract is not that token — different chain, different address, 16 days tracked in the September 27, 2026 snapshot with $436 thousand of liquidity and roughly $14.4 million of daily volume. But the name choice is itself a data point: a deployer who picks the most famous scam ticker in crypto is either making an ironic joke or fishing for exactly the buyers the joke attracts. Neither possibility says the contract is malicious — the sell-side check is what settles that, and the honeypot test is the required first step on this page more than almost any other.
TSLAC on Base — 0xb2000000000000000000001e800a7f5189430cd0 — is the 0xb200… family's Tesla wrapper, priced $361.45 in the September 27, 2026 snapshot in line with the stock, on $431 thousand of liquidity and roughly $3.4 million of daily volume.
Tesla is the family's highest-beta member — the equity that retail tokenization was arguably invented for — and its wrapper runs the standard profile: eleven days old, turnover near 4.6x the pool. But this contract carries a second identity worth flagging on its own page: Base also hosts a different "Tesla - Tokenized" contract from another deployer, at a different address and a different price point entirely. Two tokenized Teslas on one chain is the wrapper category's core problem in miniature — the ticker tells you nothing about which claim you're buying.
By tracked market cap: QUID (Base) measures $10.28M and TSLAC (Base) measures $1.18M — dated snapshots, not a live feed.
On the contract checks we publish: QUID (Base) grades A and TSLAC (Base) grades B. A grade is a structural check on the contract, not a promise about the asset.
Between 2026-09-18T04:43:53 and 2026-09-26T18:07:24, the measured snapshots show QUID at +10.8% and TSLAC at +2.97%.

The grade column is the one CMC's compare page cannot print — our grade is computed from the contract itself (mint/freeze authority, liquidity, holder concentration). Changes are measured over the shared window stated on the chart, 2026-09-18T04:43:53→2026-09-26T18:07:24; a token with fewer measured points measures a shorter span inside it.
