Monad is the newest chain in the lineup — the EVM swap engine pinned to chain 143, with your own wallet signing and the risk check one paste away.
Monad is a high-throughput EVM chain — Ethereum tooling, much faster block times. For a trading desk that means the familiar surface (an EVM wallet, a KyberSwap-routed quote, a signature) on a chain young enough that half the tokens on it are this week's deployment. The Monad page mounts the same EVM engine as the rest of the EVM swap, pinned to chain 143.
What's actually live
Connect through wallet detection (EIP-6963) or WalletConnect, pick a pair, sign, done — the route, the quote and the signature all work the way they do on the other EVM chains. One difference matters: chain availability is server-driven. If Monad drops off the enabled-chain list, the page says so plainly instead of quoting a route that can't settle — a dead chain should fail loudly, not fill an order book.
About the signature count — the honest version
Marketing would say "one signature per swap". The code is more honest: a Monad swap takes one confirmation only once the fee forwarder contract is deployed for your address and your wallet can batch calls — and most Monad wallets can't batch yet (EIP-7702 support, plus a ten-MON floor on the forwarder). Until both conditions hold, expect two transactions: the token approval, then the swap itself.
The honest limit: young chains concentrate risk in young places — thin pools, fresh deployers, contracts that haven't survived a week of scrutiny. The scanner reads Monad tokens the same way it reads Solana and EVM: verify the contract address first, size second.

How many transactions does a swap take?
Usually two right now — token approval, then the swap. One-confirmation swaps require the fee forwarder deployed for your address and a wallet that can batch calls; most Monad wallets can't batch yet, so the honest answer is two until both conditions hold.
